NOTE: Lodging on the Pacuare does not have electricity. Lighting is by candles, battery powered lights and gas lanterns. No air conditioning.

Advantages

Sleeping right in front of the river, with river sounds and nature sounds. Complete privacy - only your Serendipity group will be there -- with great food and excellent place to play in the river. Calm shallow water in front of tents - take a turn in a safety kayak with one of the guides as an instructor, swimming, learning about river life and the local indigenous population.

Disadvantages

More primitive than cabins high on hills. Bathroom is on higher ground, about 100 feet from sleeping tents.
