For parents, adventure and discovery is most rewarding when viewed through the eyes of our children. Kids want new excitement while parents want security. With Serendipity these are very compatible goals. We design private, custom family trips to your personal priorities, and we’ll push your whole family to try new challenges together.
You tell us your priority for laying back or go-go-go. And when it's time for action, your Serendipity guide will be there, gently pushing, or pulling, to keep everyone in the spirit of the adventure.
No memory is more durable than trying something really hard, or strange -- and succeeding.
Serendipity, and our 4x4 comfy vehicles, make going from Point A to Point B as important as the destinations. Time to really ask questions and get long answers. Time to stop for local fruit or take some pictures or dip your feet in a cool mountain stream. Get off pavement, get off gravel, get into places no one else knows about.
There's no time table more important than challenging curiosity. All of our sample itineraries can be modified to accommodate wide ranging ages and abilities, or we can start "from scratch" to include your most important places or adventures. We proudly host people with disabilities, or timid natures, and we do pretty well with self-absorbed teenagers, too. Young kids and horseback? Of course! Older adults climbing trees? Why not? When everyone starts laughing, remember, it's with you, not at you.
Look at the Design Checklist to get an idea of what you want to do while in Costa Rica, and style of accommodations and transportation.
We know how to enthrall a 10-year old and challenge your 20-year old as well.
While we're at it, let's talk about Risk. It's one of the most important aspects of any adventure. We're proud of our record, and our commitment to setting the standard in Costa Rica for minimizing risk.
All of us loved all the activities. Great trip start to finish. Surprised at how smooth everything went and how adaptive the staff was. You went the distance to make this great. We've made a video and you can see on Youtube:
