Canopy tour - ziplines from platform to platform over forest and streams, a bit like Tarzan. We don't operate a zipline, but we sure do have rigid standards for which ones we will use

Tree Ascent - Abraham: ascend 110 feet up a giant rain forest tree. Have some lunch, look around. Then - rappel back to the jungle floor

Tree Climbing - Joseph: Ascend inside a living organism - this tree was here when Christopher Columbus arrived

Snake Center - Handling, Understanding, on a very personal level. Understanding the real meaning of environmental balance.

Culture – museums, craft areas, churches, from very local to grand cathedral in Cartago

Rainforest restoration and Frog Farm project, on a very personal level. Don Claudio’s frog farm really opens your eyes on how nature can recover

Mountain biking, from beginner to expert, biking in area famous for world class competitive biking

Pre-columbian ruins – Guayabo, Costa Rica’s only archaeological site open to the public

Hiking for nature, for waterfalls, or to experience real, untouched jungle

Camping– tents and air mattresses, boats or pack horses carry the gear, and you will not see artificial lights (your flashlight excluded)

Bushwhacking: Extreme hiking/trek, with a bubbling river to cool off

Caving - walk, crawl, slither through chambers filled with stalactites and stalagmites and underground waterfalls

Latin dancing - just mention to your Serendipity guide that you want to salsa, and (any excuse to dance, or sing, or play the guitar) -- away you go!
